The Language and Learning Lab conducts studies on children’s early cognitive development. We are interested in how children acquire language, how they use it to communicate with others and how they learn and think about the world. The streams of research we have focused on over the years: counterfactual reasoning, language and communication, and scientific reasoning and conceptual change.
